Black Halos THE BLACK HALOS
Born: 1993/1994. Touring heavily across the US and Canada, THE BLACK HALOS shared stages with such bands as The Murder City Devils, L7, The Vibrators, D.O.A., The Hellacopters, and Wayne Kramer. Think Stiv Bators fronting DGeneration.

Betty Blowtorch BETTY BLOWTORCH
The all-girl band was formed in 1998 by three members of Butt Trumpet. After releasing the 2001 album, Are You Man Enough?, the group toured with Nashville Pussy. In December 2001, lead singer and bassist Bianca was killed in a car crash in New Orleans, which marked the end of the group.

The Briefs THE BRIEFS
The Briefs burst onto the scene like a neutron bomb with the audaciously titled "Hit After Hit". The finest punk-pop band in existence these days, this Seattle quartet makes mincemeat out of whatever goateed/ball-capped/Doc Marten'ed whiner brigade that's now littering altie-rock playlists simply by adhering to the good ol' "1977 and nothing but" formula.

Jeff Dahl JEFF DAHL
Dahl spent time in The Angry Samoans and Powertrip, and played and recorded with guitar legends Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys) and Rikk Agnew (Adolescents). He was also a member of Vox Pop and has recorded with hardcore punk legends Poison Idea. Dahl has performed on approximately 26 full-length albums and 100 7" singles. He has toured and recorded in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Electric Frankenstein ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN
Electric Frankenstein's brand of punk/hard rock have sometimes been referred to as AC/DC meets The Dead Boys - high energy punk rock & roll that combines the raw and energetic sounds of Punk Rock and Garage Punk (Ramones, Damned, Misfits, etc.) with elements of hard rock played by bands like MC5, Stooges, Kiss, Mott the Hoople, and Alice Cooper.

The Hangmen THE HANGMEN
When they first got together in L.A. in 1987, the Hangmen were fiery and hard rocking enough to play with metal bands, but they also had a stubbornly rootsy and punk rock attitude that made them fit in just as easily with such legendary underground icons as the Gun Club and Tex & the Horseheads. Their trademark dual-guitar attack combines the classic-rock drive of the Rolling Stones and AC/DC with the hard-charging swagger of Johnny Thunders and the sinister allure of the Cramps.

Street Walkin' Cheetahs STREET WALKIN' CHEETAHS
Punk revivalists the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs formed in Los Angeles in 1995, the group taking their cues from the protean noise of bands like the Stooges (from whose "Search and Destroy" they also copped their name) and the MC5. Renowned for their ferocious live shows, the quartet issued their debut album Heart Full of Napalm on Alive in 1996. The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs backed ex-MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer on tour.

The Superbees THE SUPERBEES
Founding member and lead vocalist/guitarist Dave James paid his dues in a number of killer rock n' roll outfits including The Coma-Tones, The Sacred Hearts (with Javier Escavedo of The Zeros) and The Joneses before hooking up with bassist Dat Ngo, guitarist Scott Carlson and drummer Johnny Sleeper (The Stitches). The Superbees can be seen electrifying stages up and down the West Coast with their loud and physical take-no-prisoners live performances.

Teenage Frames TEENAGE FRAMES
Mod-influenced Chicago punk-popsters the Teenage Frames issued their debut LP More Songs, Less Music in 1997; 1% Faster followed two years later and Kingsize Session followed in spring 2001. Great pop rock songs!

Trash Brats TRASH BRATS
Too punk for rock and too rock for punk. I've never seen a band cause so much fury just for the way they look. The band has achieved popularity not only in Detroit but world wide, which is saying a lot for a band that has never been signed. Groups like The Goo-Goo Dolls, The Forgotten Rebels, Joan Jett and even Dope has claimed The Trash Brats to be one of their favorite bands out of Detroit.

Pillbox NYC PILLBOX NYC
Their one album "Jimbo's Clown Room" captured the glam punk spirit of the Stooges, New York Dolls and Dead Boys. Catchy, great tunes. Wish we had more music to listen to.

The Vacancies THE VACANCIES
Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, The Vacancies give listeners an honest and profound punk rock sound that is magnified by their high energy, high powered shows. The Vacancies have shared the stage with Social Distortion, The Buzzcocks, The Hives, Stiff Little Fingers, The Dwarves, Social Distortion, Flogging Molly, The Adolescents, Street Dogs, and Pennywise. The Vacancies were signed by Joan Jett to Blackheart Records in 2005.
